DESCRIPTION:Summer may be in full swing\, but the darkness never takes a vacation. \nJoin us on July 19th as Descent returns to The Red Room for another night of Goth\, Industrial\, EBM\, and dark alternative music in the heart of Vancouver. \nFor almost two decades\, Descent has been bringing together Vancouver’s dark alternative community. Whether you’re a longtime regular\, returning after a break\, or curious about experiencing your first goth night\, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is free to be themselves. From goths and rivetheads to industrial fans\, synth lovers\, and anyone who appreciates great music and good company\, there’s a place for you on our dance floor. \nResident DJs DJ Surreal\, DJ Joshy Neurotic\, and DJ MissBDeath will be behind the decks\, serving up a carefully crafted mix of classic favourites\, modern anthems\, and underground gems spanning Goth\, Industrial\, EBM\, and beyond. Whether you’re dancing from the opening track or finding your groove later in the evening\, expect a soundtrack built for the night. \nDescent has always been about more than music. It’s about community. It’s a place to catch up with old friends\, meet new people\, admire incredible outfits\, and enjoy a night where individuality is celebrated and everyone is treated with respect. HEED WARNINGS FROM STAFF \nReported inappropriate behaviour will results in warning from Descent or club staff. Staff will be monitoring for further infractions after a warning has been given. Failure to comply with requests or warnings from staff can result in being asked to leave the event. \n4. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY \nAny form of discrimination\, hate-speech\, repeated harassment\, assault\, or non-consensual behavior is grounds for immediate removal from the event and potential further consequences.
